Oh, it is for certain! I recently received my student visa, or rather my international student card in the mail! My little sister and I squealed for a minute before my mom told us to be quiet and then she announced, "Well, now you can say you are for sure going!" . I was so stressed out about not getting approved for it because they told me it would take about 6 weeks to process the information. Six weeks went by, and I still didn't receive any sort of notification. I am so happy to say that I will indubitably will be studying in New Zealand in LESS THAN ONE MONTH!!!!
On another note, I know where I will be living as well. This website (http://www.nz.com/new-zealand/accommodation/dunedin/unit-7-46-queen-street-studio-rooms.aspx) has all the information with pictures of my temporary home...I will be sharing this 'house' with 6 other international students (whom I have not met). It shall be an interesting experience! I also registered for my classes, which are all the generals that includes a class in conversational Maori, the native language of New Zealand.
Here is a picture of the outside of the university flat. It is a 5 minute walk from the University of Otago and a 2 minute walk to a 24 hour dairy hahaha! Not to far away is the Otago Harbor and the ocean!
